Makeshift Bombs All Over Minnesota Town

Maybe as many as 7 altogether in Princeton,MN:

"PRINCETON, Minn. — An eastern Minnesota school superintendent says a suspicious package found outside his town's high school on Wednesday contained an incendiary device.

Princeton schools Superintendent Rick Lahn (LAYN) says he learned that in a meeting with Police Chief Brian Payne. Lahn says the chief couldn't give him details but told him it was "very suspicious and it contained some explosive material."

Lahn says he doesn't think it was a large device but doesn't know what kind of damage it could have done.

The package discovered by a custodian outside the high school was one of three found in Princeton on Wednesday morning.

A clerk found a similar package in front of the post office and another in front of Princeton High School forcing the evacuation of more than 3,000 students in the school district. There were three small packages.....Sources tell KARE 11 that in addition to the initial three, four more devices may have been located in Princeton. They were described as homemade devices, possibly even working devices."

Kids attempting to get classes cancelled wouldn't have also placed a device at the post office.

It sounds like someone wanted to completely shut down the town and then study the response......a dry run perhaps.

The FBI and the ATF have been called in.

Two More Terrorist Bomb Plots In Two Cities

In Chicago today:

CHICAGO — A 29-year-old man who idolized American-born Taliban soldier John Walker Lindh has been arrested after attempting to detonate what he thought was a bomb inside a van outside a federal courthouse in the Illinois capital of Springfield, officials said Thursday."

"Michael C. Finton, also known as Talib Islam, was arrested Wednesday and charged in a criminal complaint with one count of attempting to murder federal officers or employees and trying to detonate a weapon of mass destruction. Federal officials said the case has no connections with the major terrorism investigation under way in Colorado and New York.

"This alleged plot drives home the stark reality that we must avoid complacency and remain ever vigilant to the threats that violent extremists may pose to the public safety," Acting U.S. Attorney Jeffrey B. Lang said."

Authorities were originally saying that Talib Islam had no links to muslim militants.....guess they were wrong.

And in Texas:

"A Jordanian citizen was arrested Thursday and charged with attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction in a Dallas skyscraper, the FBI office said.

Hosam Maher Husein Smadi, 19, was arrested near Fountain Place, a 60-story glass office tower located at 1445 Ross Avenue in downtown Dallas, where he placed an inactive car bomb, investigators said.

Evidently there are Wells Fargo Bank offices in the building and Smadi was out to target that bank, according to an arrest affidavit."

"Smadi, who investigators said was heard expressing a desire to commit violent Jihad, has been the focus of an undercover FBI investigation and under continuous surveillance, the FBI said.

Investigators said Smadi was in the U.S. illegally and lived and worked in Italy, Texas, which is about 45 miles south of Dallas."

Forest Fire Money Goes To Green Jobs

Stimulus Money For Wildfires Going To DC Parks

Nearly $3 million in stimulus money targeted for fighting wildfires is being spent to restore public parks and watersheds in the nation's capital, which has no national forests.

The Forest Service has directed that $2.8 million in "Wildland Fire Management" funds, approved under the economic stimulus law, go to groups that will create "green jobs" in the District of Columbia. The projects are intended to restore public parks and watersheds in the city and highlight the value of urban parks, including a park 2 miles north of the White House that once was plagued by crime.

The spending angered a group of Western lawmakers, who noted that the District of Columbia has no national forests and that forests throughout the West continue to burn. A huge wildfire in Southern California blackened nearly 250 square miles of the Angeles National Forest and resulted in the deaths of two firefighters whose truck plunged off a mountain road.

"The last major fire in D.C. was likely lit by British troops in 1814," said Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., who is leading Western lawmakers' effort to strip the city of the money.

"There are many wasteful and wild schemes born in Washington, but this takes the cake."

Remember when the mainstream media was trying to DISREGARD Obama's association with Bill Ayers??

Back during the election voters were led to believe that the Bill/Barry friendship was bullpucky:

White Census Worker Found Dead

"The FBI is investigating the hanging death of a U.S. Census worker near a Kentucky cemetery.

The body of Bill Sparkman, a 51-year-old part-time Census field worker and occasional teacher, was found Sept. 12 in a remote patch of the Daniel Boone National Forest in rural southeast Kentucky. The Census has suspended door-to-door interviews in rural Clay County, where the body was found, pending the outcome of the investigation.

Investigators are still trying to determine whether the death was a killing or a suicide, and if a killing, whether the motive was related to his government job or to anti-government sentiment.

Investigators have said little about the case. The law enforcement official, who was not authorized to discuss the case and requested anonymity, said Wednesday the man was found hanging from a tree and the word "fed" was written on the dead man's
chest. The official did not say what type of instrument was used towrite the word."
