Imam Booted

A muslim imam from Ohio convicted of funneling funds to terrorist organizations has gotten the boot and been deported out of the U.S. to Gaza.

"Fawaz Damra, who served as imam at Ohio's Islamic Center of Cleveland, was CONVICTED in June 2004 of concealing his ties to Islamic Jihad when he applied for US citizenship in 1994.  He had been jailed in Michigan since then." 

"Damra, 46, was deported on Thursday to the West Bank, Tim Counts, a spokesman for the US bureau of immigration and customs enforcement, said on Friday. 

Michael Birach, Damra's lawyer, called the imam a bridge-builder and a healer who had made a real contribution to religious understanding in the Cleveland area."

Yup, Uh huh, sure he did....a real builder of radical islamic bridges who helped us better understand what kind of horse shit Americans are up against with C.A.I.R. and the A.C.L.U. protecting perpetrators of crime who make contributions to terrorists and other radical islamic organizations.

C.A.I.R.'s response:

"We have deep concern for the family and the three young daughters who are US citizens and his wife, who did not get a chance to say goodbye," said Julia Shearson, director of the group's Cleveland chapter."

The victims of 9-11 didn't get a chance to say "goodbye" either, you C.A.I.R.-Takers of Radicals!!
