Shooting Over Tenure

And the "gunman" was female:

"HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Police said a female member of the UA-Huntsville faculty shot and killed three co-workers on campus.

Huntsville Police, Madison County Sheriff's department and HEMSI responded to a shooting at the UAH campus at 4:00 Friday afternoon.

The shooting happened in the Shelby Center, a math and science classroom building.

Authorities said a female faculty member during a Biology faculty meeting learned she would not receive tenure. She then pulled out a gun and started shooting.

The campus was immediately put on lock-down.

UA-Huntsville spokesman Ray Garner confirmed three people were shot and killed. He said one person was injured.

Authorities said the shooter is a female member of the UAH staff.

All three of the dead are also staff members.

Huntsville Hospital was also on lock down to control traffic until all the ambulances arrive."

They are now saying that 3 people were killed and 3 others wounded and the FBI's involved.

There is also A MALE in custody who's related to the shooting.

Muslims Put Themselves On No Fly List

"Saying that body scanners violate Islamic law, Muslim-American groups are supporting a “fatwa” – a religious ruling – that forbids Muslims from going through the scanners at airports."

"The Fiqh Council of North America – a body of Islamic scholars that includes some from Michigan – issued a fatwa this week that says going through the airport scanners would violate Islamic rules on modesty.

“It is a violation of clear Islamic teachings that men or women be seen naked by other men and women,” reads the fatwa issued Tuesday. “Islam highly emphasizes haya (modesty) and considers it part of faith. The Quran has commanded the believers, both men and women, to cover their private parts.”

Muslim groups say the scanners go against their religion."

Just as well.....at least airborne infidels won't have to worry about anymore Muslim crotch-bombers.

Bubba Gets Two Stents

It sounds like Former President Clinton has had two stents put into his coronary arteries which are an inflateable mesh tubes that expand the arteries enabling better blood flow:

If he was feeling a gut ache before hand, one of the stented arteries was probably the posterior descending which runs down the back of the heart. IF he was feeling "sick" for several days, he probably had a heart attack before he went into the hospital.

Hopefully he'll be okay with the two stents.

More Airport Security Breaches

"Police at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport are looking for a man carrying a stuffed animal who got inside a secured building.

Around 9am Wednesday morning, a Delta Airlines employee encountered a man inside Building C.

When asked to produce an identification badge, the man held out a stuffed animal and said, "This is all you need to see."  He then fled the building.

Police and security staff searched but did not find the individual.  Airport canine explosive detection teams searched an adjoining hangar but found no trace of explosives.

He was described as a black male 19 to 22 years old.  He was carrying a stuffed animal with a leopard print."

And yesterday's breacher has been CHARGED:

"Kalyan Policherla cut through a passenger security checkpoint at Detroit Metropolitan airport on Monday morning without a ticket, boarding pass and luggage, prompting authorities to partially evacuate the airport. India-born Policherla, who became a US citizen in 2005, ignored security officers who repeatedly asked him to stop at the McNamara Terminal and kept walking.

The authorities then activated the breach alarm, causing metal gates concealed in the ceiling to snap down, and blocked 27-year-old Policherla’s access to the boarding area. He was tasered by an FBI agent, wrestled down and handcuffed. Panicked passengers fled the terminal and flights were delayed for hours as the drama unfolded.

Terrorists regularly test US airport security procedures, say intelligence experts, either directly by seeing how security personnel react to a given situation or indirectly by gathering reports of security breaches."

"Telling the crowd she was going to "call it like I see it," she said Washington, D.C., politicians need to "back off." While Americans have lost jobs and learned to live with less, she charged that government has become more bloated.

"Over the past year, Washington has replaced private irresponsibility with public irresponsibility," she said. The country, she said, needs health reform "not backroom deals." She suggested measures like allowing insurance purchases across state lines and tort reform.

Also, she said the country needs to go after an "all-of-the-above-approach to energy." She said increased drilling for oil must be pursued. "Drill here and drill now, and tap our own plentiful energy supplies," she said.

The Obama administration, she said, has lost its way on foreign policy. She said people wonder if the United States is still a "beacon of hope" for freedom. "We need a foreign policy that distinguishes America's friends from her enemies and recognizes the true nature of these threats that we are facing," Palin said."

If these are the words of an "empty vessel," Chris Matthews is an idiot.

Matthews and the Obama administration are out of touch with us ordinary Americans.

Two More Churches Torched In East texas

More churches up in flames:

"Two more churches erupted in flames near Tyler, Texas, on Monday night, bringing to at least eight the number of east Texas churches hit by apparent arsonists since this year....Tom Crowley, special agent with Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms National Response Team, says his group is "very active in the area" and are investigating reports of several vehicles seen near churches at all hours in the area.

The two fires Monday night erupted within three miles of each other in Smith County and about an hour apart, the Tyler newspaper reports.

County authorities said fire was already coming out the roof of Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church when firefighters arrived. The spokesperson said it was evident that the back door had been broken into.

Pastor Carl Samples of Dover Baptist Church says he "can't comprehend how anyone would do the Lord's house this way," the Associated Press reports."

Arson attacks on these churches were intentionally set, likely by the same person or group, federal authorities said Tuesday.
