Fans from Pittsburgh and Oregon have been WARNED to stay out of Mexico when they attend the Sun Bowl game between Oregon State Beavers and Pitt Panthers:

Obama In The Dark

"HONOLULU (AP) — The island of Oahu lost power late Friday in the midst of heavy rain and lightning, leaving some 800,000 residents and thousands of tourists in the dark, as well as the neighborhood where President-elect Barack Obama is vacationing.

Residents were being advised by the power company and civil authorities to get to their homes and store water.

Peter Rosegg, a spokesman for Hawaiian Electric Light, said the initial power hit at 6:45 p.m., knocking out electricity to most of the island. The rest of Oahu lost power two hours later as a second generator failed.

Rosegg said it would take at least 12 hours to get power back and maybe longer. He said the cause of the outage was being investigated."

Psycho-Santa Ends Up Killing Nine

The evil santa either shot or burned nine people in a Christmas Eve massacre which took place at a former relative's home:

"A man wearing a Santa suitknocked on the door of a Christmas Eve party and fired gunshots before setting the house on fire, leaving nine family members dead and three others injured, police said Thursday.

Police later found the suspect, Bruce Jeffery Pardo, 45,dead after he reportedly committed suicide in front of his brother's home in Sylmar, according to Lt. Pat Buchanan of the Covina police department.

After shooting several of the partygoers, Pardo reportedly threw several Molatov cocktails -- disguised as Christmas presents -- which burned the house to the ground.

Pardo was said to be embroiled in a bitter divorce with his estranged wife, who was at the Christmas party along with her relatives.

Police said an unidentified 8-year-old girl opened the door to Pardo thinking he was the real Santa Claus. He shot her in the face. She is expected to survive but officials say she will have "a long recovery."

Point Rider's Christmas Story

I drove into town today and travelling over the snow-rutted roads was like riding a bucking horse.

My coffee spilled all over the Jeep.

I finally got parked and walked up to the entrance of a store.

A young Hispanic woman was ringing the Salvation Army bell....and I noticed she was surrounded by birds who were eating little white specks of bread.

As I further surveyed the situation, I saw that the woman had a sack with some bread in it, part of her sandwich, and she would throw the bread out for the birds when she thought no one was looking.

Later as I came out of the store, I gave her five bucks and tried to tell her it was for HER.

I motioned for her to put it in her pocket.

Even though she spoke no English, she knew what I meant and refused to take it for herself....with me and the birds watching, she smiled and defiantly threw the five bucks in her Salvation Army bucket.

My heart was touched.

Here was this Mexican refugee who looked like she barely had the money to buy a coat, standing out in the cold feeding the birds bread from her sandwich, ringing her Salvation Army bell and refusing to take the money I gave for herself.

This woman forced a major change in my heart.

It was at that point that I decided people like this refugee should not be forced to return to Mexico.

Mexican illegals who commit crimes?

Yes, they should be deported.

But you will hear no more from me regarding sending refugees like this Mexican bird woman back to Mexico.
