The bomb squad had to dismantle a "device" which was probably some sort of pipe bomb found in a postal drop-off box:

Cincinnati Bomb Squard was able to disable the homemade device without detonating it. The gas station is now reopened and workers are back in the office building. are Call Cincinnati bomb squad, disabled it without detonating it.
Officials are now investigating to determine how the bomb got inside the mailbox."
How it got in the mailbox? Was it too large to have been just dropped in the box?
